About Pets Helping People

Since 1998, Pets Helping People has trained over 800 handler/pet teams at the Congregational Home in Brookfield, Wisconsin. This organization believes in the healing power of a cold nose and a wagging tail, partnering with facility directors to create joy and inspiration for more than 5,000 individuals annually. Through independent certified handler/pet teams and group pet therapy events, PHP reaches an additional 5,000 people each year.
