Our Story

Founded in 1984 by William D. and Harriett M. Snyder, Pets for Life was inspired by a '60 Minutes' segment highlighting the benefits of animals for seniors. The Snyders recognized a vital need in the Kansas City community and provided the initial funding to create this impactful organization.
