Our Story

Founded in 1977 by dedicated cat rescuer Jacqueline Russel and local veterinarian Dr. Stuart Gluckman, Pet Pride of New York has transformed from a garage operation to a full-fledged sanctuary. In 2000, a dedicated facility was built, and in 2023, a major expansion was completed, including the opening of a veterinary medical center.
