Our Story

The People’s Anti-Cruelty Association of New Mexico, founded in 1973, is a no-kill, all-volunteer rescue group committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming homeless dogs and cats. Operating without a shelter, PACA relies on a network of dedicated foster parents who provide loving care until these animals find their forever homes.

Our Impact

PACA has successfully rescued and rehabilitated countless dogs and cats, giving them a second chance at life. Through spay/neuter programs and community initiatives, PACA actively combats pet overpopulation and manages feral cat populations.

Why Donate?

Your generous donations support PACA's mission to provide essential medical care and foster homes for homeless animals. Contributions also fund vital spay/neuter programs that enhance animal welfare in the community.
