Founded in 1964, People Incorporated began as a community club in Hayter’s Gap, Virginia, dedicated to providing education and support to local residents. Over the years, it has evolved into one of the first community action agencies in the U.S., focusing on empowering economically disadvantaged individuals through various programs and services.
