People Engaged in Active Community Efforts, known as PEACE, is a justice ministry formed by 25 congregations across Palm Beach County, Florida. Founded in 1991, PEACE harnesses the collective power of organized individuals to confront systemic injustices, inspired by biblical principles such as Micah 6:8.
PEACE has made significant strides in the community, implementing initiatives like the Community ID Program, which has issued nearly 4,000 IDs, and the Wage Theft Resolution, recovering almost $1.2 million for victims. These efforts have led to a notable reduction in out-of-school suspensions and the establishment of supportive programs for community members.
