Penny Lane Centers was founded in 1969 by Ivelise Markovits, driven by a passion for justice and a commitment to providing essential treatment facilities for girls in need. What began as a single group home for adolescent girls has evolved into a multi-service organization that supports over 3,500 children, youth, and families each month in Los Angeles.
