Our Story
The Penny Foundation is dedicated to eliminating economic inequality in the Black community of Birmingham, Alabama. By connecting people, organizations, and resources, the foundation fosters family, economic, and community development through technology and innovation.
Impact
Since 2017, the Penny Foundation has supported over 50 businesses and nonprofits, established 17 active funds, and raised more than $1.2 million from over 855 donors.
