Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival

Our Story

For over 30 years, the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival has captivated audiences with more than 200 productions, including 31 of Shakespeare’s 38 plays. This fully professional theatre, established as a not-for-profit organization, serves as a cultural gift to the region, supported significantly by DeSales University. PSF not only showcases world-class performances but also provides invaluable educational enhancement, training, and internship opportunities for students from DeSales and beyond.

Featuring acclaimed actors from Broadway, television, and film, PSF is the summer home to over 200 artists, including numerous award winners. The festival enriches the cultural landscape of Pennsylvania while fostering artistic talent and community engagement.
