Empowering Athletes with Disabilities

The Pennsylvania Center for Adapted Sports (PCAS) is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of individuals with disabilities through inclusive sport, wellness, and recreation programs. Operating from its office on Boathouse Row in Philadelphia, PCAS runs 13 sport-and-wellness programs year-round, fostering inclusive communities with barrier-free and supportive settings.

Making a Lasting Impact

PCAS serves over 1000 athletes with disabilities, providing essential equipment, venues, instruction, and training. Participation in adaptive sports not only builds strength and emotional health but also enhances self-esteem and increases the likelihood of full employment by 40%.
