Our Story

Pennies for Education and Health Foundation was established in January 2003, inspired by the aftermath of the Gujarat earthquake. Founders Drs. Basheer and Saleha Khumawala witnessed the struggles of families in refugee camps and dedicated themselves to making a difference.

Impact

PEH has transformed the lives of over 6,800 students, built more than 2,000 schools, and constructed 7,000 houses, significantly improving education and health care in vulnerable communities worldwide.
