Our Story

Founded in 1951, the Peninsula Association for Retarded Children & Adults Foundation, known as PARCA, emerged from the efforts of dedicated parents in San Mateo County, California. Initially formed as the Parents Association for Retarded Children, PARCA has evolved into a leading nonprofit organization focused on providing essential services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
