Our Story

In response to the educational needs following Hurricane Andrew in 1992, the City of Pembroke Pines established the Pembroke Pines Charter School System. Today, it stands as the largest charter school system in Broward County and the largest municipally run non-profit charter system in Florida. The Pembroke Pines Charter School Foundation was founded in 2004 to support teachers and students by creating a one-million-dollar endowment.

Impact

Donations to the Support Our Schools initiative directly enhance the quality of education and resources for students in the Pembroke Pines Charter School System. Funds are allocated for financial sustainability, increased benefits, operating expenses, and vital capital improvements.
