About Pediatric Dermatology Research Alliance

The Pediatric Dermatology Research Alliance (PeDRA) was established in 2012 by leaders from the Society for Pediatric Dermatology. This organization addresses the significant challenges faced by clinician scientists in the field of pediatric skin diseases. By fostering collaboration among pediatric dermatologists across North America, PeDRA is able to conduct research that would be impossible for any single investigator to achieve alone.

PeDRA has successfully generated over $2.4 million in grants and fellowships, provided more than 75 hours of research-focused education, and published 114 peer-reviewed articles. These efforts have significantly advanced pediatric dermatology research and improved treatment options for children suffering from skin diseases.
