Our Story

Founded in 1982 by Ken Sande, Peacemaker Ministries has evolved significantly over the decades. Originally established under a different name, the ministry merged with the Association of Christian Conciliation Services in the 1990s, adopting its current name. With a mission to help individuals and churches navigate conflict biblically, Peacemaker Ministries has trained hundreds in conflict coaching and mediation. After relocating from Montana to Colorado and then to Washington, the organization continues to expand its reach and resources. In 2023, Laurie Stewart was appointed as CEO, marking a new chapter in its commitment to reconciliation.
