Our Story

Forest Animal Rescue, founded in 1998, is dedicated to providing lifetime care for nonreleasable wild animals and rehabilitating wild black bear cubs. Located in Florida, the sanctuary collaborates with wildlife rehabilitators to ensure safe land for the release of native wildlife.

Impact

With a protected 80-acre sanctuary, Forest Animal Rescue has rescued and provided lifelong care for nearly 100 wild animals, including big cats, bears, and primates. The organization has successfully rehabilitated and released wild black bear cubs back into their natural habitat.
