Peace Resource Center

Our Story

The Peace Resource Center of San Diego, established in 1980 by representatives from six organizations, is dedicated to fostering a culture of peace through education and community engagement. By providing a clearinghouse of peace and social justice resources, the Center promotes networking among peace-related organizations and offers nonviolent alternatives in conflict resolution.

With a consistent presence in the San Diego community, the PRC advocates for peace and nonviolence, addressing interpersonal, community, and global issues. Through numerous events and initiatives, the Center has successfully promoted social justice and environmental sustainability.
