Our Story

The Pawerful Rescue was founded in 2019 by Stephanie, who has dedicated her life to rescuing strays, particularly in South Los Angeles. This nonprofit organization focuses on dogs with extreme medical, behavioral, and special needs, as well as senior dogs. The mission is to find loving homes for these animals, or provide them with a sanctuary where they can live out their days in comfort and care.

By focusing on the most vulnerable dogs, The Pawerful Rescue transforms lives through rehabilitation and love. Many dogs have been successfully rehomed, while others find a forever home in the sanctuary.
