Our Story
The Paulding Child Advocacy Center (PCAC) was established in 2000 to address the urgent need for a local facility dedicated to children involved in abuse investigations. After serving over 60 families through referrals to a center in Rome, Georgia, local agencies recognized the necessity for a dedicated center in Paulding County. In 2003, land was donated, and construction began on the current facility, which opened in 2004. PCAC became independent in 2017, expanding its services to include ongoing victim advocacy and therapy.
