Our Story

In November 2004, Paula Takacs was diagnosed with liposarcoma just days after giving birth. Despite the challenges, she founded the Paula Takacs Foundation for Sarcoma Research in 2010 to support fellow patients and fund vital clinical research.

Impact

Since its inception, the foundation has raised over $4.3 million, funded six studies, and engaged over 12,000 participants, significantly impacting sarcoma research and patient care at Levine Cancer Institute and Levine Children’s Hospital.
