Founded in 2009 by Julie Sanderson and Susan Bolton, Patriot Service Dogs (PSD) is dedicated to providing service dogs exclusively to veterans. With a unique training program that involves incarcerated women, PSD not only trains service dogs but also empowers these women with valuable life and job skills.
To date, Patriot Service Dogs has successfully trained and placed 65 veteran/service dog teams, while 450 participants have benefited from the WOOF Program, which trains service dogs in a prison setting.
Your donations ensure that veterans receive high-quality service dogs at no cost. Each dog costs between $15,000 and $20,000 to raise and train, and your contributions support ongoing veteran support and the WOOF Prison Program.
