Pathways Togo

Our Story

Pathways Togo was founded in memory of Karren Waid, a passionate advocate for women's empowerment in Togo. After her untimely death in a bus accident, friends and family established a scholarship program to honor her legacy. Since its incorporation in 2010, Pathways Togo has dedicated itself to improving the lives of young women in Togo through education.

Impact

With a focus on education, Pathways Togo has supported over 55 young women, enabling 30 of them to earn college degrees in a country where less than 30% of girls enroll in high school. The organization provides scholarships, mentoring, and life skills workshops, empowering these girls to become leaders in their communities.
