Founded in 1991 by Dave and Joyce Bishop, Pathways to Independence began with a mission to help a young woman named Monica achieve self-sufficiency through education. Over the years, the organization has evolved to support single young women from disadvantaged backgrounds, providing them with essential resources such as education, therapy, mentoring, housing, and healthcare.

Impact

Since its inception, Pathways to Independence has positively impacted the lives of over 375 young women, with an impressive 80% graduation rate among program participants.
