Our Story

Pathways In Education is an Alternative Learning Opportunities Program (ALOP) based in Chicago, dedicated to serving the local community and supporting underserved students. Since 2002, the journey began with communication and leadership camps in the California wilderness. By 2006, the first school opened in Chicago, and in 2010, a dedicated learning property was acquired. Today, Pathways operates ten schools across five states, a 240-acre organic farm in Northern California, and a dude ranch in the Colorado Rockies.
