Our Story

Path of Hope Rescue is a foster-based organization located in Spokane, Washington, committed to decreasing the euthanasia of high-risk dogs in the Southern United States. Founded by Caitlin Knight, the rescue was inspired by her experience fostering a high-energy dog named Zulu and a litter of puppies in need. This passion for saving lives led to the establishment of the organization.

Our Impact

In just six years, Path of Hope Rescue has saved over 1,400 dogs from euthanasia in Texas, significantly alleviating the burden on local shelters and providing these dogs with loving homes in the Pacific Northwest.
