The Friends of Pasteur School Detroit, formerly known as the Pasteur Elementary School Alumni Foundation, was founded in 1997 by dedicated alumni eager to give back to their beloved school. This nonprofit organization has grown to include over 1,500 alumni and friends, all committed to enhancing the educational experience for children at Pasteur Elementary School.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the organization reached out to over 125 families in need, providing essential financial aid, books, and art supplies. Additionally, 234 families received holiday gift cards, showcasing a strong commitment to community support during challenging times.
Donations are vital for funding programs that enrich the lives of students, including scholarships, educational materials, and emergency aid for families. Every contribution significantly impacts the children and families served by the organization.
