Pasadena Rugby Football Club has a rich history dating back to the 1920s, evolving from early teams like the Pasadena Athletic Club and the Pasadena Majors. Officially formed in 1971 through the merger of two teams, the club became known as Crown City Rugby Football Club, later rebranding to Pasadena Rugby Football Club in 1995. With diverse teams including men's, women's, and youth programs, Pasadena RFC has maintained a strong tradition in the Southern California Rugby Football Union.
