Our Story
Partnership 4 Hope began as a collaborative initiative aimed at supporting young adults transitioning out of foster care. The inspiration came from Adam Gaines, the Board Treasurer, who recognized a significant gap in resources for these individuals. Many donated items at the Youth Mart, located on the Omaha Home for Boys campus, were claimed but never picked up, leaving young adults without essential furniture and support. In 2017, the mentoring program was launched to address these challenges. As young adults age out of the system at 19, they often lose vital services, making their transition to independence difficult. In November 2019, Partnership 4 Hope proudly took over the management of the Youth Mart, further enhancing its mission to meet the needs of former foster youth in the community.
