Our Story

Recycling Furniture for Families (RF4F) is a non-denominational charity dedicated to serving families in need throughout McLean County. Founded in 2002 by Doug Poag, RF4F began as a response to assist victims of domestic violence and has since evolved into a vital furniture bank.

Impact

Since its inception, RF4F has positively impacted over 23,000 individuals across approximately 9,500 households, averaging 10 furnished apartments each week. In 2022 alone, the organization supported over 250 families and distributed 4,182 pieces of furniture.
