Our Story

Founded in 2000 by landscape architects Rob and Barbara Fisher and Josh Koons, Partner For People And Place, Inc. has been dedicated to addressing critical human and environmental needs in Haiti. Since its incorporation as a nonprofit in Georgia in 2004, the organization has focused on reducing rural poverty through sustainable land use and economic development.

Impact

Over the past 12 years, Partner For People And Place has established an 800-student K-12 school, a health clinic, and an agriculture and enterprise center in Terrier Rouge, Haiti, significantly contributing to poverty reduction and community development.
