Our Story

Founded in 1997 by Dr. Marilyn "Doc" Peterson, Parkwood Farms Therapy Center was inspired by her son Julian's diagnosis of severe Sensory Integration and Autism. Established to provide Hippotherapy and Equine Assisted Activities, the center has grown since its opening in 2002, expanding facilities and programs to serve more individuals with disabilities.
