Founded in 1991 by Joe and Claire Bruno, Parkside Community School transformed an abandoned meat packing plant into a thriving Montessori school. After 23 successful years in downtown Austin, the school relocated to a beautiful 12-acre campus in Southwest Austin in 2014, providing a natural environment that enhances the Montessori approach. Although Joe and Claire retired in 2019, their legacy continues to inspire the school community.
