Empowering Vulnerable Youth in Chester County

Parkesburg Point, known as THE POINT, plays a crucial role in supporting the most vulnerable youth in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Each year, over 685 students from grades 2 through 12 benefit from our programs, which provide a safe and supportive environment during critical afterschool, evening, and summer hours. Many of these students come from single-parent households and face significant challenges, including homelessness, food insecurity, and academic struggles.

THE POINT is dedicated to eradicating the adverse outcomes faced by these youth. With the help of dedicated volunteers and community support, we empower students to thrive physically, academically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. Our work directly impacts the lives of over 650 youth and their families, fostering resilience and hope.
