Our Story
Denver Metro Community Impact, originally known as Park Hill Collective Impact, was founded in 2015 by former Colorado State Senator Mike Johnston. This organization was created to tackle inequities in Northeast Denver using the Collective Impact Framework, which emphasizes collaboration and shared goals. In 2018, DMCI became a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit and rebranded in 2020 to broaden its reach across the Denver metro area, continuing its mission to empower communities and advocate for systemic change.

DMCI mobilizes funding and resources to address the needs of families in Denver, focusing on the Social Determinants of Health to drive systemic change and improve community well-being.
