Our Story

In 1908, Mrs. Russell Sage initiated the creation of Mashashimuet Park, a haven for youth and families in Sag Harbor. The Park and Recreation Association of Sag Harbor was established to foster opportunities for wholesome recreation and the mental and physical development of children and young people.
