Our Story
Founded in 2008 by Mary Limbacher, Parents in Toto began as the Parents in Autism Resource Center. Over the years, in Toto has evolved to provide community-centered social support for individuals at increased risk of mental health struggles. The organization has diversified its programming to support neurodiverse individuals of various ages, including young adults and independent living autistic adults. In 2020, the center expanded to include virtual programs, allowing it to reach individuals with limited access to transportation. A rebrand in 2022 marked its fifteenth year of service, emphasizing a non-ableist approach to the autistic community and expanding its services to new mothers through the Empowering Moms Program.
