The Paramount Theater of Charlottesville, established in 1931, stands as a historic landmark designed by the renowned Chicago architectural firm Rapp & Rapp. After a brief closure in 1974, the theater was saved from demolition and restored by the nonprofit Paramount Theater, Inc. in 1992, reopening its doors in 2004. Today, it continues to serve as a vibrant community hub for arts and entertainment.
