Our Story

PAWKids began in 2015 as an after-school enrichment program for children in Grove Park, initiated by LaTonya Gates Johnston. What started in a neighbor’s backyard with just five children has blossomed into a vital community resource, addressing the diverse needs of families through educational support, behavioral health services, and a food pantry.
