In March 2003, a life-changing call revealed a devastating diagnosis: stage IV metastatic breast cancer. This moment ignited a passion to make a difference, leading to the inception of Par For The Cure. Inspired by the groundbreaking research of Dr. Dennis Slamon at UCLA’s Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation, a charity golf tournament was born. The first event took place in October 2005, marking the beginning of a journey filled with hope, resilience, and community support.
