Our Story
The Panzi Foundation, founded by Dr. Denis Mukwege, is dedicated to supporting survivors of sexual violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The foundation works tirelessly to end the use of sexual violence as a weapon of war.
Impact
Since its inception, the Panzi Foundation has treated over 80,000 survivors and delivered more than 4,000 babies, achieving a remarkable maternal mortality rate of just 0.19%.
