The Pantry of Broward was founded in 2008 by Elizabeth (BJ) Buntrock, a dedicated philanthropist who saw the urgent need for a charitable organization to support seniors living on fixed incomes and grandparents raising their grandchildren. This nonprofit organization is committed to serving these vulnerable populations in Broward County, Florida.

Each month, The Pantry of Broward provides over 600 seniors and grand-families with essential food boxes, distributing more than 400,000 pounds of food annually. With over 20,000 volunteer hours logged each year, the organization plays a crucial role in alleviating food insecurity in the community.
