The Pan-African Academy of Christian Surgeons (PAACS) is committed to addressing the critical shortage of surgical specialists in Africa. By training African physicians as surgeons, anesthesiologists, and obstetrician/gynecologists, PAACS focuses on providing essential care for the poor and instilling Christian values in their practice.

Making a Lasting Impact

With training programs established in 20 mission hospitals across 12 African countries, PAACS currently has 172 residents in training and 156 graduates serving in 23 countries, significantly improving healthcare access.
