Our Story

Founded in 1953, Palos Verdes Hills Nursery School is a pioneering parent participation school located in Palos Verdes. Established at its current site in 1958, this cooperative institution is dedicated to fostering a strong partnership among parents, teachers, and children. Governed by a parent-run Board of Directors, PV Hills is a proud member of the California Council of Parent Participating Nursery Schools and is among the first preschools in the U.S. to receive accreditation from the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs.
