Founded in 2005, the Palmerton Area Historical Society (PAHS) emerged from the Lehigh Gap Historical and Preservation Society to focus on the unique history of the Palmerton Area. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to collecting, preserving, and sharing the rich heritage of Palmerton, Bowmanstown, Towamensing, and Lower Towamensing Townships. Through various exhibits, publications, and educational programs, PAHS fosters a deep appreciation for the local culture and history.
