Our Story
In the heart of the Far Eastside of Indianapolis, P30 was born from a vision to transform a once-thriving community into a hub of opportunity and growth. When a local entrepreneur acquired a large factory at the corner of Post and 30th St., the initial goal was to launch a modular home factory, Volumod, aimed at providing attainable housing and employment for local residents. However, as plans unfolded, it became clear that the surplus space could serve a greater purpose.
Through conversations with community leaders and residents, the harsh realities of the Far Eastside emerged: a history marked by neglect, scarce resources, and a lack of economic opportunities. The community, predominantly composed of Black and Brown individuals, had endured generations of lost hope and despair. Recognizing the potential for change, the vision for P30 evolved into an Entrepreneurial Incubator and Community HUB, dedicated to fostering business development, education, and community-building.
Launched in May 2022, P30 serves as a coworking space, event venue, and community center, uniting various businesses and nonprofits committed to uplifting the Far Eastside. Here, hope is being restored one life at a time, as individuals are empowered to pursue their dreams and aspirations. The mission is clear: to cultivate a vibrant community where diversity is celebrated, and every person has the opportunity to thrive.
