Our Story

Ozzies Pound Puppies was founded in 2012 in memory of Ozzie, a beloved dog who passed away from spleen cancer. After Ozzie's death, the founder adopted two puppies from the Stanislaus shelter who survived parvo, igniting a passion for rescuing vulnerable puppies. This nonprofit operates entirely through foster homes in Alameda and Contra Costa County, focusing on saving parvo and orphaned puppies.
