Our Story
In 1995, health administrators from Barry, McDonald, and Newton Counties united to tackle the challenge of diminishing state funding for health programs. This collaboration led to the formation of a consortium dedicated to writing a grant proposal aimed at ensuring healthcare access for all residents, regardless of income or insurance status. The establishment of Ozark Tri-County Health Care as a Federally Qualified Health Center in 1999 marked a significant milestone, allowing for the implementation of sliding fee discounts. In 2008, the organization rebranded as ACCESS Family Care to better reflect its expanded service scope.
