Overture Outreach International was established in the wake of Hurricane Matthew, which devastated southern Haiti in October 2016. The organization emerged as a first responder, providing shelter to displaced families, administering outreach services, and managing over $2 million in construction projects. Motivated by a shared faith, Overture's mission evolved to focus on keeping children with their families and empowering Haitians to achieve independence from aid.
In 2023, Overture supported 3,008 children through psychosocial activities, provided 1,348 scholarships, and packaged 200,000 meals. Additionally, crisis medical care was offered to 28 individuals, and skills training was facilitated for 488 people through construction projects.
