Outward Bound is an innovative educational concept developed by Kurt Hahn, a celebrated German educator. Since its inception in the 1930s at Gordonstoun School in Scotland, Outward Bound has evolved into a global movement that emphasizes experiential learning through outdoor adventures. Originally designed to teach survival skills to young sailors during World War II, the program has expanded to inspire millions worldwide. Today, Outward Bound offers immersive experiences that challenge individuals to step outside their comfort zones, fostering personal growth, resilience, and a sense of community.
