Outright Vermont

Our Story

Founded in 1989 during the HIV/AIDS crisis, Outright Vermont emerged from a passionate group of community members dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ youth. The organization has evolved to empower these young individuals through community-based action, leadership development, and advocacy, fostering a future where their identities are celebrated.

Impact

Outright Vermont has positively impacted the lives of 897 youth, trained 511 school personnel, and established 105 Gender & Sexuality Alliances (GSAs) across 17 schools, showcasing significant outreach in supporting LGBTQ+ youth.
